SILVIA H. BROCH JACOBY

Silvia takes care of dental patients at our practice, as well as giving consultations in general medicine, performing general surgery and ultrasound examinations.

Silvia was born in Norway and qualified from Szent István University, Faculty of Veterinary Science in Budapest in 2011. Soon afterwards she started working with small animal medicine at Tierarztpraxis Schlüter in Kiel, Germany to improve her German language skills and start her professional career. She acquired further experience in surgery, dermatology, diagnostic imaging, emergency and general medicine from working at Skara Djursjukhus (Animal Hospital, Sweden) and Tierklinik Birkenfeld (Animal Hospital, Germany) before returning to general practice in 2016. She started working with Ulrike Klein at Tierarztpraxis am Rotenbühl (2016-2020), a practice that specializes in Ultrasound diagnostics and Cardiology. At this practice, she further developed her skills in Ultrasound diagnostics and soon recognized the need to address dental health in her patients. In 2016, she started studying dental medicine for dogs and cats specifically and has since completed Dentistry I to V at ESAVS (European School of Advanced Veterinary Studies). Silvia has since worked primarily on dental cases and grows her experience in the field cooperating with colleagues and regularly attending seminars on dentistry and oral/maxillofacial surgery, to make sure we stay up to date on topics concerning current veterinary dental medicine. Silvia has worked in Luxembourg at Cabinet Vétérinaire de Lallange (2019-2022), until she co-founded Déierepraxis yourVets S.A.R.L. in 2022, where she is looking forward to welcoming you and your pet.
